For first-time visitors, Edgehill College is in Lennoxvale – off Malone Road.

BY TRAIN From Botanic Station (one stop from Central Station) this is a 15-20 minute walk. Google maps suggests a couple of routes: I recommend the one via the Botanic Gardens (if you’re in good time, enjoy the Gardens!). Turn left out of the station and walk up Botanic Avenue. Pass Union College and continue past the University library and through the gates into Botanic Gardens. Bear right past the palm house on your right and soon the Ulster Museum on your left through the trees. At the next gates/Stranmillis Road junction cross over and take the next left (Malone Road). Pass the new Computer Science building, Eglantine & Botanic Inns and Fisherwick Presbyterian Church, crossing the junction with Chlorine Gardens. Lennoxvale is next left and Edgehill College is a short walk away at the far end. On your way back to the train, return via University Road instead of the Botanic Gardens, via the impressive Lanyon building/University campus back onto Botanic Avenue.

BY CAR Follow the M1 signage for Belfast. At the large interchange in the 50mph section at the end of the M1 (Broadway/Royal Victoria Hospital) exit and take the 4th exit. Stay in the right hand fork and turn onto the Boucher Road. After 100m turn left at the mini roundabout onto Tate’s Avenue. Go all the way to the top of this road. At the traffic lights at the top of Tate’s Avenue, turn right onto the Lisburn Road and then first left onto Eglantine Avenue. At the end of this avenue turn right onto the Malone Road. After the traffic lights, take next left: this is Lennoxvale; Edgehill College is at the far end. For the return journey either retrace the same route or else turn left onto Malone Road and follow until the junction with Balmoral Avenue, turning right here and following for the M1.
